Network Marketers Promoting Themselves On Other Network Marketers Facebook Walls

As you’ve probably noticed by now, I like to do a good deal of ranting about what I observe go on in the MLM industry and network marketing profession. This post will be no different and I have to tell you that my ranting of topics does work well for teaching others “what not to do”.

I guess you can say I’m just passionate about making others aware of what doesn’t work well..  and besides people seem to like gossip, ranting and topics with a negative or tragic twist. Don’t believe me? just look your daily news cast..  happens all the time and people just chew it up. It’s a form of marketing that works..  plain & simple!

OK enough of that, let’s get back on topic..

Network Marketers Promoting Themselves On Other Network Marketers Facebook Walls

As the title above implies, this comes from one of my latest episodes of  “As the MLM World Turns”..

So I happened to be on one of my mentors Facebook Fan Pages when I quickly discovered that this other person had dropped a post on my mentors personal wall. It had like two sentences within it and then a link to a landing page with a short video on it that described how they could show you how to market their companies product to a status of success.

First off..  never post stuff like that directly to someone personal Facebook Wall. The same idea goes for Twitter as well.

I have to add one more thing..  don’t people even do any research on other people??

Like maybe looking over their profile would be a great concept !

Not that the network marketer should have done it to begin with but what was he even thinking??

This mentor of mine has over 20 years of experience and makes millions of dollars per year, helped run a MLM company at one point in his career and currently hosts a professional network marketing show Monday through Friday. As a matter of fact, his Facebook Fan Page is actually titled with the name of his daily show instead of his personal name.

And after going there and seeing that, this other person thought that my mentor needed what he’s offering?  LOL

It’s just NOT the way to market yourself and that’s all there is to it. People need to stop and think to themselves..  “would I want someone doing this to me?”

Show more awareness and stay away from doing such ridiculous things that will make you look like an ass.

When people need help, they usually go looking for it by doing research. They don’t need everyone posting stuff about themselves on their pages.

Knowledgeable marketers always use blogs to convey information to help others. It can be an all text blog, video blog or combination of both. These are the best forms of non-intrusive marketing and communication.

Use forms of attraction marketing to get others to notice you so that they get the feeling that maybe they should research you in the first place. Once their looking at your profile they’ll see the link to your blog and any other resources you may have listed.

When using the attraction marketing methods, don’t boast & brag or over-do-it because others will be turned off..  be positive, realistic and be human.

I’m sure many of you know what you’re doing but topics like this come with the territory and must be discussed to help those that aren’t quite there yet.
